The Vancouver Children’s Festival on Granville Island is looking for more volunteers!
The Festival will be on Granville Island from May 30th to June 4th, 2023.
You are invited to volunteer for the Children’s Festival, a great way to gain valuable skills and experience. Students interested in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, Arts, Performance, or Childhood Education are particularly encouraged to apply, but there are positions at every level.
Regular volunteer positions require a minimum commitment of 2 shifts.
Volunteers need to be at least 15 years old at the time of their volunteer Festival shifts.

Langara Library & Information Technology Department offers online information sessions for those interested in applying for admission to our classroom and online program options. In the info session, you will learn about having a career as a Library Technician (job prospects, salary expectation, etc.) and details about our diploma program (admission process and requirements, courses, workloads, etc.).
Our Library & Information Technology Diploma Program is recognized across Canada and has been developed in accordance with the Canadian Library Association Guidelines for the Education of Library Technicians in Canada. Students can complete the program entirely online, on-campus, or with mixture of both.
